Talabani H et al. - PCR was more informative than GWC and immunobloting in immunocompromised patients. Acute necrotising retinal lesions were significantly larger in the PCR-positive patients, with a mean optic disc diameters of 3.5, than in the PCR-negative patients with a mean optic disc diameters of 1.5.
