Lee J et al. - The authors report a case of Salmonella infectious aortitis in a patient with POEMS (peripheral neuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, M-protein and skin changes) syndrome, possibly indicating that vasculopathy associated with POEMS syndrome may increase the risk of Salmonella endovascular infection.
