In the case of a dependent eligibility audit, the savings can be significant as anywhere from 5% or more of dependents are found to be ineligible in most plans. A Watson Wyatt/National Business Group on Health survey of 489 employers found that audit reviews are the fastest growing change that companies are making to their healthcare programs.
