Jayaprakash K et al. - A case of infective endocarditis caused by aminoglycoside-resistant Enterococcus faecalis that presented with a highly mobile mass in the LVOT in a patient without other cardiac abnormalities is reported here. Because the patient refused surgical treatment, he was managed with a 6-week course of benzyl penicillin and ceftriaxone.
