Saxena P et al. - Infective endocarditis is a life threatening condition with high morbidity and mortality. The authors present a case report of a young female who had a rare complication of infective endocarditis in the form of mitral valve leaflet abscess. Patient underwent successful surgical treatment with valve replacement.
