Grieser EJ et al. - Anterior staphylomas usually result from untreated fungal ulcers in developing nations. Poor compliance with medications and follow-up was the cause of these patient's anterior staphyloma. Sclerokeratoplasty can restore the globe structurally but has poor visual prognosis.
