National Jewish Health, #1 respiratory hospital in the country, is seeking additional Internal Medicine: Hospitalists for their current group of 12 Hospitalists for “moonlighting” night and weekend coverage. Group provides 24/7 in-house care for their patients and serve as emergency responders within the facility at Rose Medical Center. Patient referrals come from the ER, local primary care physicians, National Jewish Health and consultations from all subspecialties within the hospital.

?Average 16 patients per day/per physician with limit of 20 per physician
?Average 8 patient admits per day
?Average 5 to 6 patient admits per evening
?Cover general medicine unit as well as oncology, telemetry, and 14 bed step-down ICU
?Mix of EMR and Handwritten notes/orders
