The House Judiciary Committee Oct. 21voted 20 to 9 to approve legislation to repeal antitrust exemptions that are provided to health insurers under the McCarran–Ferguson Act. Senate Democratic leaders said they would push for a similar measure to be included in health care reform legislation.
