Danford D – Recent changes in credit card laws will likely affect everyone in ways both positive and negative. The Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009, which took effect August 20, is designed to reduce certain types of fees and increase transparency, but it may create the unintended consequence of causing card issuers to reemphasize annual fees.
