Bacher L – Years ago, health facilities professionals were often forced to use their existing building controls contractor and system in any new addition or renovation because no common language existed for interfacing one building control manufacturer with another. All that changed with the introduction of the Building Automation Control network (BACnet), which provides a degree of compatibility between building automation manufacturers.
