The AHA Solutions division of the American Hospital Association has endorsed the Extension Health ID smart card technology of Extension Inc., Fort Wayne, Ind. The endorsement does not include discounted pricing for AHA members. The technology integrates with existing scheduling, registration, clinical and financial systems to enable pertinent patient data to be loaded on the card and read by other providers via a Web–downloadable reader.
