HMS Launches Online Payments
HealthDataManagement, 08/13/09
Community hospital software vendor Healthcare Management Systems Inc. has introduced an online bill payment Web portal application. The portal is accessible via a link on a hospital's Web site. The portal enables a patient to view bills, set up recurring payments or make a one–time electronic checking or credit card payment, according to the Nashville, Tenn.–based company. Payments entered via the portal are automatically updated in the HMS patient accounting software.
