Cardiology PACS Hits the Web

Carestream Health Inc. by the end of September will introduce a Web–based cardiology picture archiving and communication system. The cardiology PACS will provide a single integrated platform for diagnosis, image review and reporting for echocardiography, cardiac catheterization and nuclear cardiology procedures, according to the Rochester, N.Y.–based vendor. It also will support management of electrocardiograms.
