UMass Memorial Health Care and Bethesda Healthcare System will implement Soarian information systems from Siemens Healthcare, Malvern, Pa. Worcester, Mass.-based UMass, with more than 1,100 beds in five hospitals, will deploy the vendor's Soarian Clinicals, Financials and Quality Measures data mining applications. The seven-year contract significantly expands Siemens' business with the delivery system as HealthAlliance Hospital already is a Soarian showcase client.
