A consulting firm specializing in assessing health care clinical and financial outcomes has introduced a Web-based wound care consultation service. The WOCN-Connect service of Miller and Huffman Outcome Architects LLC, Winchester, Tenn., connects caregivers with a Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence nurse. A secure Web site enables a provider to input patient information and preferred wound care products used at a facility, and attach a digital photo of a wound, for review by the certified nurse.
