Wake Forest University Health Sciences, a Winston-Salem, N.C.-based academic medical center, has completed a testing process to certify that its systems meet CORE Phase I rule requirements for standard financial transactions. More than 35 organizations are now CORE Phase 1 certified, including health plans covering roughly one-third of U.S. commercially insured lives.
