Moghaddasi H et al. - The literature shows that CIO is a growing position in the healthcare industry that has achieved much popularity because healthcare has a great focus on information management and technology and that CIO can be future powerful strategist for healthcare organizations. Therefore, a model for an ideal healthcare CIO based on lesson learned from literature was suggested.
