The Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission and the CORE initiative of the CAQH payer advocacy organization have teamed to offer discounted fees on their services. EHNAC accredits claims clearinghouses and other transactions processors for meeting specific industry best practices. CORE is the Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange within CAQH. The initiative seeks to build industry consensus on voluntary tightening of the HIPAA standards to make health care financial/administrative transactions as easy as a bank ATM transaction.
