Swann A. Adams, 10/29/09

We believe that this work highights 2 key points: (1) providing access to free mammography screening services is effective at eliminating some of the breast cancer disparities seen between African American and European American women in South Carolina and (2) African American women still experience some barriers to timely mammography follow-up. We hope this information can be used to evince change that can improve the lives of African American women.
