van der Kaaij MAE et al. – Ninety percent of males with Hodgkin lymphoma have good or intermediate sperm quality. Three percent are azoospermic. There is an association between sperm quality and the presence or absence of B–symptoms, in particular fever and night sweats. With modern fertilization techniques, sperm quality before treatment is good enough for future fatherhood in most early–stage Hodgkin lymphoma patients.
