Population-based survey of cancer risks in chromosome 3 translocation carriers
Genes, Chromosomes and Cancer, 10/28/09

Woodward ER et al. – There was no association between cancer risk and location of the chromosome 3 breakpoint. These findings suggest that, in the absence of a family history of RCC or evidence of disruption of a specific tumor suppressor gene, chromosome 3 translocations carriers are not at high risk of developing RCC.
