Pant S et al. – The long–term follow–up is presented for 317 patients with acute myeloid leukaemia who underwent human leucocyte antigen–identical sibling marrow transplants between 1984 and 1995 following preparation with busulfan 16 mg/kg and cyclophosphamide 120 mg/kg. None of the variables considered (including age, disease stage, and graft–versus–host disease) were predictive of late failure.
