Irhimeh MR et al. – In–vivo effect of fucoidan on hemostasis was not obvious probably due to low intestinal absorption. Thus, fucoidan in the form used in this study does not seem to have an oral anticoagulant activity, but it has a very strong in–vitro anticoagulant activity.
