Ximeri M et al. – The beneficial effect of lenalidomide in lower risk MDS patients with del(5q) is associated with significant increase in the proportion of BM erythroid precursor cells and in the frequency of clonogenic progenitor cells, substantial improvement in the hematopoiesis supporting potential of BM stroma and with significant alterations in the adhesion profile of BM CD34+ cells.
