Successful sunitinib treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma in a patient with end stage renal disease on hemodialysis

Park CY – Sunitinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor with a low toxicity profile and proven activity against metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC). The authors report the experience with the use of sunitinib in a patient with mRCC and end stage renal disease undergoing hemodialysis.
