Sano Y et al. – No significant association was observed between percutaneous CT–guided lung biopsy and intraoperative pleural lavage cytology results, even in patients with stage IA disease. Percutaneous CT–guided lung biopsy with a coaxial needle does not seem to cause pleural dissemination.
