Vu HL et al. - In a review of human papillomaviruses (HPV)-induced oropharyngeal cancer and the immune response and response to therapy, this article outlines several mechanisms whereby the observed improved response of HPV-positive tumors to radiotherapy may be related to enhancement of immune response following radiotherapy.
