Yamashita M et al. – In stages II and III, capillary angiogenesis was observed. Lymphangiogenesis was undetected in all the 3 stages. Thus, pathologic staging helps understand the roles of the factors involved in tissue remodeling in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
