Zhou J et al. – Adjuvant chemoradiation following curative resection for ampullary adenocarcinoma did not lead to a statistically significant benefit in overall survival. A significant proportion of patients still developed distant metastatic disease suggesting a need for more effective systemic adjuvant therapy.
