Dubina M et al. – In a study to investigate the origin of neoplastic cells in Kaposi sarcoma (KS), it was reprted that the origin of neoplastic cells in KS may be lymphatic or mixed lymphatic and vascular.
Methods- D2-40 was used to investigate possible lymphatic origin of neoplastic cells in KS.
- 5 cases were reported of tumor-stage KS that showed positive staining with lymphatic marker D2-40.
