| ABVE-PC is a dose dense regimen that supports a response based treatment for children and adolescents with Hodgkin Lymphoma. It is now the backbone chemotherapy regimen for the treatment of Hodgkin Lymphoma in the Childrens Oncology Group (which includes patients in the US, Canada and several other nations). Children and adolescents are now receiving 4 cycles of ABVE-PC based therapy for intermediate risk patients; a randomization is investigating the concept of response based therapy by studying the feasibility of eliminating radiation for good responders and the benefit of augmenting therapy for slow responders. |
