Kwon MJ et al. - The yolk sac tumor predominantly had a polyvitelline pattern. Previously, gastrointestinal wall or epithelium that was identified on microscopy has been reported. To the authors' knowledge this is the first case report of the formation of a grossly visible, completely developed intestinal loop in a malignant mixed germ cell tumor.
