Matsuda K et al. - In a study to clarify the characteristics of pts with anastomotic recurrence when compared with pelvic recurrence, it appears that a difference was observed in the serum carcinoembryonic antigen, clinical symptom, and survival between pts with anastomotic and pelvic recurrence. According to results, the authors should pay attention to these clinical features in the follow-up period.
