De Bruijne J et al. - Many new specifically targeted antiviral therapies for hepatitis C (STAT-C) and treatment strategies are evaluated in clinical trials. These new antiviral agents are expected to improve treatment significantly with potentially shorter treatment duration. The most promising antiviral agents will be reviewed.
