Niimi R et al. - Microscopic examination of a biopsy specimen showed epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, disarticulation at the knee joint was performed. Although malignant change in a benign vascular tumor is extremely rare, irradiation can induce malignant transformation of a hemangioma.
