Salmon JE et al. - Recent evidence suggests that APL antibodies alter regulation of haemostasis and induce activation of complement. We will discuss the current knowledge on how aPL antibodies trigger increased inflammation and enhanced thrombotic tendency, and thereby lead to tissue damage.
