Vavuranakis M et al. – The authors describe the case of a woman which was found incidentally on catheterization to have a pseudo–aneurysm of the ascending aorta at the site of a previously (15 years ago) implanted metallic prosthetic aortic valve. Angiographic and computed tomography images are provided, which demonstrate the pseudo– aneurysm.
