Kupai K et al. – An early increase in peroxynitrite after postconditioning plays a role in cardioprotection. Furthermore, hyperlipidemia blocks the cardioprotective effect of postconditioning at least in part via deterioration of postconditioning–induced early increase in peroxynitrite formation.
