Herrmann JL et al. – The authors describe the treatment of a 16–year–old girl with calcific aortic stenosis, porcelain aorta, and calcific mitral stenosis with insufficiency using a valved apicoaortic conduit and mitral valve prosthesis. Both valve replacements were porcine bioprostheses, and the apicoaortic conduit was implanted without the use of cardiopulmonary bypass.
