Noble S et al. - Percutaneous intervention in adults with congenital heart disease has advanced rapidly in recent years and represents a growing field of invasive cardiology. Valve replacement, stent implantation for native and recurrent coarctation, and ventricular septal defect closure have emerged as attractive alternatives to surgery and have been added to the existing validated procedures. This review summarizes current and expanding indications for transcatheter interventions in adults with congenital heart disease.
