Ngaage DL et al. - Ventricular fibrillation or tachycardia was the most common mechanism, and myocardial infarction, the predominant precipitating cause of cardiac arrest after coronary artery bypass grafting or aortic valve replacement. Despite aggressive resuscitation, outcome is poor.
