Frustaci A et al. – Data confirm the efficacy of immunosuppression in virus-negative inflammatory cardiomyopathy. Lack of response in 12% of cases suggests presence of un-screened viruses or mechanisms of damage and inflammation not susceptible to immunosuppression.
