Brunie V et al. - A review of the literature on everolimus use, particularly in children, was performed. Many studies demonstrated its efficacy after adult lung transplantation. Concerning its use in children, studies seemed to show its efficacy after renal and cardiac transplantation. Although there is no study regarding to the use of everolimus in pediatric lung transplantation, we decided to use it for Lea because of the successful results in adults' lung transplantation and in pediatrics' renal and cardiac transplantation.
