A PDR-ICG of 12.85 %/min cut off level was predictive of the occurrence of a serious post-operative complication. In those patients, the sequential change of PDR-ICG allows to make the difference between two groups (i) patients with early severe complication (hepatic arterial thrombosis, primary non-function of the graft, sepsis) who had a low value of PDR-ICG during the five post-transplantation (average 8.8 ± 4.5 %/min) (ii) and patients who developed acute rejection and had a progressive reduction of PDR-ICG between day 0 and day 5 (25.5 ± 4.8 %/min to 10.3 ± 2.5 %/min; p<0.002, respectively). Conclusion: After LT, PDR-ICG measured regularly during the five post-operative days appeared to be a safe and non-invasive technique that could predict early post-operative complications including hepatic artery thrombosis and acute rejection.
