Braun F et al. – Retransplantation was accompanied by a significant loss of QoL. Cyclosporine–treated recipients displayed a better QoL compared with those treated with tacrolimus. After establishing a system of continuous, systematic QoL assessment, we combined these results with survival outcomes. Further research must focus on advanced statistical methodology that combines these 2 major outcome parameters (QoL and survival).
