Lopes AI et al. – Treatment of H. pylori infection remains a challenge, considering suboptimal efficacy of current therapy. Among emerging alternatives, sequential treatment appears promising. The adjunction of probiotics to conventional regimens, although eliciting great interest, has shown limited therapeutic benefit.
