Di SM et al. - Duodenal acid perfusion causes a sensitization to dyspeptic symptoms and induces antral hypomotility and jejunal hypercontractility. Through these mechanisms, increased duodenal acid exposure may play a role in the pathophysiology of FD symptoms.
