Vassiliou I et al. - Hepatectomies conducted under low CVP are prone to postoperative hemorrhage which can be prevented if the final bleeding control is performed under high pressure in the hepatic veins. Application of the testing maneuver effectively unmasked previously undetectable bleeding veins.
