Seewald S et al. - Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided drainage has emerged as the leading treatment modality for symptomatic pancreatic fluid collections. Endoscopic ultrasound-guided endoscopic drainage is less invasive than surgery and avoids local complications related to percutaneous drainage.
