Elevated neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is a powerful predictor of poor response to oxaliplatin–based chemotherapy in patients with unresectable colorectal cancer (CRC). The ratio is a simply accessible and inexpensive but useful biomarker in CRC patients receiving chemotherapy.
